Reverse Osmosis RO/DI Units
This area is dedicated to RO/DI Units, also known as Reverse Osmosis Deionization Units. Reverse Osmosis or RO/DI Units are very important to aquariums. They are piece of equipment that should be just as important as the salt that gets mixed with the water. Most of these devices filter out 99% of impurities in tap water that can affect the health of marine tank members. They can be hooked directly to sink faucets, hoses, or tapped into water lines.
Every unit we carry comes with anywhere from 2 to 7 or more sections of filtration; it all depends on how in depth you want to go when it comes to the purity of the water you mix for your tank members (see each item for exactly what it will do). The most common units will filter anywhere from 80-250 Gallons Per Day (GPD). They will remove harmful chemicals such as Chlorine, Chloramine, Iron, Copper, Lead, Silica, and many other elements that can be harmful to reef tank inhabitants.
